The greatest decision you can make this year is to render obedience to heaven's invitation! The Gospel is God’s plan of universal redemption and reconciliation (1 Cor 15:1-4). It is the mightiest display of God’s power! (Rom 1:16; Eph 1:15-20). It is also mankind’s last chance to get right with God (Heb 1:1-3).

Will You Obey The Gospel?

What was key to the Thessalonians endurance under trials (2 Thes 1:3-5).

1) Because God is just, he will ultimately right every wrong…

2) God will punish those who ignore, rebel and reject him (2 Thes 1:8-9; Jude 14-15).

Divine Punishment Described

1) Eternal destruction and ruin (2 Thes 1:9).

2) Eternal pain and suffering (Mat 13:40-42; Mat 25:30). (When God is totally removed from your existence, what else is there?)

3) Eternal separation from God and all that is good (2 Thes 1:9).

Given the surety of these coming events, will you obey the Gospel toady?

What The Gospel Is

1) God’s plan of universal redemption and reconciliation (1 Cor 15:1-4).

2) The mightiest display of God’s power! (Rom 1:16; Eph 1:15-20).

3) Man’s last chance to get right with God (Heb 1:1-3).

_____________________________________________________________________

· Recognize you’re a sinner, in need of salvation (Isa 59:1-2; Rom 3:23).

· Know that God’s grace made salvation possible (Titus 2:11; Eph 2:8-9).

· Accept Jesus as the only source of all salvation and hope (Acts 4:12; Heb 5:9).

You must change and accept God’s gift through:

1) Learning the gospel (Rom 10:11-14).

2) Believing (Acts 16:29-32).

3) Repenting (Acts 17:30,31).

4) Confessing Jesus (Rom 10:9,10).

5) Baptism into Christ (Acts 2:36-47).

6) Lifelong faithfulness (Col 1:21-23).

Don’t Leave Here Today Only To Spurn God and All of Heaven (Heb 10:26-31).
